WELCOME TO THE 3RD ANNUAL FATHER/SON GOLF TOURNAMENT!

We are about 3 months out now and I hope everyone is having a great year playing golf. I want to remind everyone this year we are playing locally (Maryland) as we do every other year. I've secured 18 tee times (9 at Woodlands/9 at Diamond Ridge) I've been unable to get any course to allow a shotgun start on a weekend, so similar to last year we will be going off one foursome at a time but on two separate courses. My hope is there is a little over an hour between the 1st and last team to finish the round. Just enough time to grab a beverage and heckle the boys and other teams as they approach the 18th green.

As a reminder the game will be a 4 man scramble this year, something the boys wanted to do to change things up. If you don't have a set team and still desire to play, please let me, B or Trent know, and we will help place you with a group in need or one or two players. I'm sending this email out early in an effort to have some of the teams post their commit and players since the tee times are limited. As in the past you didn't necessarily need to be a "Father/Son(s)" team, it is open to all. Of course, my personal goal is to have all 3 of my boys present at one of these events and since I have a grandson coming in less than 3 weeks the future looks promising for an all Barrett Boy Team one day. Just another reminder as to why I started this tournament 3 years ago.

The majority of the details & weekend events will be located on the website pages as in past years. I'm not going to even try and replicate the awesome job Jack Grote did entertaining us in Nashville last year but let's be honest Ellicott City is no Nashville!

Deadline to register/payment is August 1, 2024. Jack and B promised we'd have a PayPal link on the website this year so look for that or Venmo B as in prior years.

Details for the tournament (Saturday 9/21):

Dinner and awards 5 pm or as soon as the last team is done this year at the course
